Luis Ocampo - Chef/Teacher

Luis Ocampo is Johanna’s husband! Luis is typically helping in the “Monitos” classroom, working with

kids that are 2.5 and older. If you don’t see him in the classroom, he is either outside doing landscaping

or in the kitchen preparing meals for the amigos. His primary language is Spanish, you will always hear

him talking to the kids in Spanish and they all understand him. He knows some English but is still

learning. Luis has completed all of his Early Childhood Education courses through MATC and UW Platteville. He has

already completed all his education required by the state to be the daycare’s cook! Outside of work, Luis

loves to cook, fish, camp, or simply be with his family!
